How to pay your rent and service charges

You must pay rent every Monday for the following week. You can pay every two weeks or every month if you prefer, as long as payments are made in advance. There are different ways you can pay.

Rent payment methods

We are always striving to make it easier and more convenient for our customers to make payments for their rent.  We have introduced several different methods of payment so tenants can pay their rent 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

1. Rent payment card (swipecards)

When you start your tanancy with us, we will order you a swipecard. You can pay in cash or by cheque across the counter, with the swipecard. Swipecards give you the freedom to pay your rent at any outlet displaying a Pay Point or Post Office sign

Post Offices Countrywide

Simply take your swipecard to the counter together with your payment – and that’s it your rent is paid! Please get a receipt as proof of payment and keep in a safe place.

2. Internet payments

If you have access to the internet, you can pay your rent by loging on to www.allpayments.net You will need to have the following information:

  • rent payment card
  • credit/debit card
  • personal email address

3. Payment by telephone

We understand that sometimes it is difficult to get to a payment outlet during the day. So it is now possible to pay your rent by telephone.

To make a phone payment, you will need a debit or credit card and your payment reference number e.g.Switch, Connect, Visa or MasterCard.  Electron and American Express cannot be used.

You will receive a payment authorisation code after you have paid and we recommend you keep this.

There are two outlets that provide this method of payment;

1. Allpay.net that is open 24 hours a day. Their phone number is 0870 243 6040 and

2. Network Stadium Housing Association is open 9am to 5pm, Monday to Friday. Our number is 020 8459 9208 (Income Hotline).

To make a payment to Allpay.net simply call: 0870 243 6040 (or 0870 770 0472 Debit Card only line). The call centre is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and is accessible from any landline or mobile phone to give you maximum convenience.

For payments to Network Stadium Housing Association ensure that you have your payment reference number and credit/debit card ready to ensure quick service.

Once you have made your payment, remember to keep the payment authorisation code safe.

4. Standing Order

If you have a bank account, you can arrange to pay your rent by standing order.  This is an easy process, you can contact the Income Management Department on 020 8451 7526 for details (we can send you the form to complete and take to your bank/building society).

5. Direct Debit

You can pay your rent automatically using Direct Debit. Direct Debit is an easy, simple and safe way to pay your bills automatically from your bank account.  All you have to do is agree with us the amount to be collected and the regular date of payment.  After that it will be deducted from your account on a regular basis.  Please phone 020 8451 7526 for details, we can set you up whilst you are on the phone (no forms to fill and no delays).

6. Housing Benefit Direct

If you get Housing Benefit from the council, we recommend that you arrange for the council to pay it direct to us. You should make arrangements to pay any part of the rent that is not covered by your Housing Benefit to us direct. You must remember that even if you have your Housing Benefit paid direct to us, you must always make sure that you have made a full claim for the benefit each year.

We can also arrange direct payment if you owe rent over 8 weeks.

If difficulties arise with paying your Housing Benefit, it is your responsibility to sort it out. We will try to help you with this if you contact us.
