Susmita is a highly successful housing professional with a wealth of experience built on over 20 years of delivering social housing services. Starting her career as a repairs clerk for the London Borough of Hammersmith and Fulham, Susmita is passionate about providing excellent services and creating environments that promotes confidence, motivation and focus by putting residents at the heart of all operations.

With a proven track record of change management, organisational development and performance management; Susmita is an effective leader and understands the importance of engagement with all stakeholders across the housing industry.

With a Masters in Housing, other keys skills under Susmita’s belt include change management, resident engagement and policy development.

Formerly the Director of Housing and Interim CEO at Hackney Home, Susmita created a unified housing management system and secured the Charter Mark for all frontline services.

Susmita was later appointed the post of Chief Executive at Ealing Homes. It was here that Susmita personally championed the equality and diversity programme, resident participation, excellent customer service standards and value for money, taking the organisation from a 1 star rating to a 2 star rating in 18 months.

As Chief Executive at Network Stadium Housing Association, a community based housing association and the largest member of the Network Housing Group, Susmita is keen to work with the board and residents to firmly put Network Stadium on the map as a first class housing management provider.
