Estate Inspections Programme 2010

Residents have told us that they want:

  • More input into the services they receive
  • More face-to-face contact with staff locally.

We believe that the best way to improve service delivery is to involve residents more directly, so we’re introducing a programme of joint inspections for all housing schemes of 20 properties or more.

The plan is to meet twice a year on site, with the local manager, a surveyor and representatives from our maintenance, repairs and security contractors. This will provide an opportunity for residents to give feedback on the quality and responsiveness of services, say what could be improved and what else should be done.

Not all residents will be able to attend these joint inspections so we’ll also distribute feedback cards, to give everyone the chance to comment on services.

The programme of joint inspections has already begun and is set out here. We will review this programme in March next year and, subject to resident feedback, may consider inspecting smaller schemes.

See below for full programme and for further information please contact your neighbourhood manager.
